The GuardDOG Occlusion System from MEDRAD Interventional / Possis provides healthcare professionals the option of infusing and holding therapeutic or diagnostic fluid at a site where treatment is needed most.

A New Tool for Peripheral Vasculature

GuardDOG is specially designed to provide occlusion in the peripheral vasculature. With its unique 0.035" guide wire and carbon dioxide (CO2) filled 3-6mm occlusion balloon, the GuardDOG System can temporarily block blood flow and support over-the-wire, catheter-directed lytic therapy.

It is the industry’s first occlusion system to offer a 0.035”-based guide wire with a CO2-filled occlusion balloon.
